NWS brings together the UK’s leading nuclear waste management capabilities and is part of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority group, which has a collective long-term mission to clean up nuclear sites safely, securely, and cost-effectively. It has a mission to lead nuclear waste management and disposal as part of its integrated waste management programme, with a vision to make nuclear waste permanently safe, sooner.

As part of NWS delivering digital training materials to stakeholders in the nuclear industry, it has awarded e-Aspire as an eLearning and development supplier, a £150,000 contract to produce and deliver digital training media. The overall objective is to support the development of skills and capabilities, and to contribute to the professional development of everyone employed in the management of radioactive waste.
